En la actualidad la indicación de las pruebas del VIH y otras ITS en hombres gais, bisexuales y otros hombres que tienen sexo con hombres, es la de realizar estas pruebas una vez al año, aumentando la frecuencia a cada 6 meses o incluso cada 3 meses cuando hay mayor riesgo.
